FORD Kenya today held its National Delegates Conference at the Bomas of Kenya, despite the Registrar of Political Parties halting the move, as a rival faction of the party battle for control of the outfit.

It was marred by chaos and one man was shot and seriously injured.

Party Leader Moses Wetangula, who is also the Senator for Bungoma County, was endorsed as the Presidential Aspirant of the party.

Wetangula is a principal member of the One Kenya Alliance (OKA) whose members are:

  1. Gideon Moi of Kenya African National Union (KANU)
  2. Musalia Mudavadi of Amani National Congress (ANC)
  3. Kalonzo Musyoka of Wiper Democratic Movement (WDM)
